I think "mainstream" is a big stretch. "Mainstream" means that when I go to Target to buy some soap, there are three customers walking around with a boob hanging out and no one bats an eye. Until then, not "mainstream".
I would expect to see this at black tie functions and casual beach events before I'd see it at the grocery store. But it's a surprising world sometimes. Could happen, I suppose.
