8 XXX : gonwild

I don't know what you people think of explanations, but I really need to thank [this John Baez post](https://plus.google.com/117663015413546257905/posts/6MEi2TAvPaS) for introducing me to these things; this is a lattice in (1 1) Minkowski spacetime invariant under a discrete subgroup of the Lorentz group (or as he calls them, spacetime crystals). For future ref: the lattice is generated by (1,0), (1/2,sqrt(3)/2) (normal triangular lattice) and the transformation under which it is invariant (i.e. one full loop of the animation) is the boost of rapidity th^-1 (1/sqrt(3)) (or speed 1/sqrt(3) the speed of light).
The dot on the topmost arc is slightly displaced every other time around.
is there a version with just the dots?
It might just be my phone, but it seems like the last frame hangs for a split second making the animation not smooth. Is this happening for anyone else?
I stared at this for about 20s and got rather dizzy... Impressive :D
